Question by Martkal44: I want the correct swing path for a full swing?
I have a flat swing which comes around me and I can only swing about 3/4.
I can hit the ball upto 280, not all the time but I can.
I carry a 16 handicap and I don’t mind my swing but after playing with an 5 handicapper and seeing his swing I really want to learn the correct swing path to add distance and accuracy.
There are too many websites about the correct swing path etc.
So can anybody give me an easy to follow guide for the correct swing.
I just can’t get the golf club up and around to really uncoil on the shot.
ps. I know about all of the weight shift, and hips etc….

Simple answer – the correct swing path for you is the one that fits your body type. The design of golf clubs demand that you follow the laws of physics in order to make a proper strike. This pertains to the lie angle of each club, wedges are more upright and therefore require a slightly steeper descending blow, long irons and woods are flatter and require a flatter, shallower angle of attack (the driver is the only club which requires an ASCENDING (upward) swing because it is on a tee) The law of physics require all golf clubs to be swung from inside the target line,to square, back to the inside. It sounds like you hit the ball solidly, don’t get too caught up in the mechanics, just try to hit it solid.
