@ajshyam how old are you 12?
Excellent upload.
Golf is a physically demanding sport, and a great golfer needs to stay flexible and be in great shape. The pro’s spend thousands of dollars on golf fitness trainers and coaches to help keep them on top of their game, but for me that was not a possibility. After years of complaining about my game plateauing and about being sore from playing so much I knew I had to do something about it, but after a few stretches I was lost.
A colleague of mine showed me this great tool!
SELFTRAINERMAT. com
2:10 – 2:30 is the best tip
@ajshyam when?
i agree about the knuckles thing. Now i know what is the mistake i always do for 2 years.
snowman1133 i agree with you and her name is stephanie sparks and she is from wheeling west virginia and a former west virginia state ametuar champion
haha he said cock
anthony kim is a monster fav golfer right there
AK my favorite golfer. can’t wait till he comes back!
She has a very good swing! Good Tempo.
we have the same swing..
This is a great instructional video. Thanks for the post!
lean the shaft towards your target…lol
the game of golf should be learned from the green to tee! these chip shots shouldn’t be a problem for folks…
on a side note, if i practice chipping/pitching and i am doing well, i know without a shadow of doubt i’m going to be flagging irons. the better contact you get on these short shots, the better contact you SHOULD get on your full shots. the chip is impact, the pitch is the slot. if both are on point, the full swing is merely extending the club a bit further. DEVELOP TOUCH!
@ProGolferTips
like where? looks like an ad for online golf instruction…
<~<~ pro golf guides reviewed on my channel
how about telling the beginner golfer how to do it, not just where parts are suposed to be. You have to tell a beginner wich muscles are working in each movement and how to pressure the grip right to get the forward shaft. You cant get a forward shaft with out the right pressure in the grip. To many instructors telling people what to to and not how til do it and why!!!
He also forgot to mention that he keeps his hands real low on the grip, to have more control over the club momentum and reduce any wrist action. Look at 2:15 for instance.
That’s what i’m talking
about.
Why would u do this with a 60 degrees club? I would use a standart pitching wedge for this
To a golfer, it’s clear what you mean by shaft forward, but for beginners it is not clear.
@gregrutz I would say its a short chip rather than a pitch. As the title says
that lesson really helped me. My 10-30 feet from the cup (just outside the green) shots are killing me. I like how this guy explained it. I am totally self taught and could never nail these shots. I might get under 90 now! YAY! so close!
He sounds (and even looks a bit) like George W Bush (his game’s improved).
put the ball behind your feet for better spin
Umm, chipping is what this guy is doing. Chipping means you get little loft under the ball. You want the ball to stay closer to the ground. Pitching is putting loft under the ball. Usually a greater swooping arc. Pitching is used for getting out of sand, rough, water, whatever you trying to get out of. If you tried chipping from the sand, you’d be in the bunker all freakin day.
ROFL
That’s a pitch, not a chip. Why don’t you hit an 8 iron?
good tip! it would have helped to see a bit of a furrier lie. most courses i am playing punish me a bit more for missing the green. even by a little. do you hit it the same way if it is burried or half burried?
thanks
thanks. most of the times i miss hit the ball and it rolls the entire green like you said. but this tip helped a lot. so do all your other videos!
@BlueBoys23 man you are 14 and you’ve already got a sorry mouth on you! is that supposed to be cool or something?
The beginning of the video looks like something out of james bond.
dang u guys are good.
God bless,
frankie
That’s what I’m talkin about
Keep the shaft toward the target. This is the best tip anyone has ever told me. This was a major flaw in my game and this one tip will help me for the upcoming season. THANKS.
this shit works, im 14.
by using this tip i reduce my strokes alot.
instead of 11 over after 18, im 8 or 7 now
Great vid…thanks for posting, but with only 3-5 feet of longer grass as in this situation I’d probably take the safest option and putt it. I generally only put the ball in the air if there’s long rough and/or a bunker between me and the hole.
Texas wedge users unite!!
