Golf Tips – Hit The Driver 300+ Yards!!!

www.rdbgolftips.com – Download this tip FREE on Ron’s site. Please note I am not saying to hang back through the entire swing with the driver, what I am saying is, at the point of impact you will be behind the ball then post impact your body and club will bring you to your left side, finishing completely on your left foot. (for right handed golfers) Ron’s Passive Golf Method is about rotating the core of your body and following the eye line through the swing. Not only will you become more powerful, you will become much more consistent in your accuracy, based on the fact that you will no longer have to have impeccable hand and arm timing to try and square the clubface at impact with the hands and the arms. By using the core muscles you will not only deliver the club to the ball with power, your bigger muscles will allow the club to square to the ball by rotating through the ball versus what we all have a tendency to do which is swinging at the ball.

For better iron control in golf, try using a club that may seem like it will travel too far, as most balls are hit too short. 1. Golf is a physically demanding sport, and a great golfer needs to stay flexible and be in great shape. The pro’s spend thousands of dollars on golf fitness trainers and coaches to help keep them on top of their game, but for me that was not a possibility. After years of complaining about my game plateauing and about being sore from playing so much I knew I had to do something about it, but after a few stretches I was lost.

A colleague of mine showed me this great tool!

    SELFTRAINERMAT. com

  2. @greekstah easier said than done you twat.

  3. I have been using the key tip – more weight on your back foot and keeping it there – for the last 8 weeks. I might not be hitting it 300 but I have hardly missed a fairway (which has meant I have been scoring more consistently) and it’s helping me to draw the ball. Before I was trying to get all my weight through the shot and was slicing or blocking.

By NOT doing it and transferring more of my weight I have been able to fade the ball on cue which was was a great bonus

    Worked for me!

  4. @Stmarie192 Glad you got it sorted :)

  5. Some really interesting stuff right there. I honestly think this guy is kind of a quack, but who knows, that’s just me. It’s the equipment you need to succeed. Time would be better spent getting reviews of the best equipment on tour like at golfclubonlinereviews (.com). They got good stuff there, just makes more sense than trying to listen to people like this.

  6. Discuss instructions and playing tips at club shanks .com, the newest and hottest golf forum on the web

  7. BEST GOLF TIP IS DAN SHAUGER I HAD A LESSON FROM DAN HIT BALL STRAIGHT DOWN LINE NOW THANK TO DAN BEST TEACHES

  8. Wow, I’m amazed at how many comments this 3 minute video has produced. Some of you are really bashing this guy, some of you love him. I think it just goes to show, each person has to swing their own club, with their own swing, and find out what maximizes distance for them. I hit it about 300 yards off the tee normally, and I can push my 6 iron to 205 if I really want to. SO??? doesn’t matter. I tried this tip, and honestly added about 20 yards to my drive… You can’t exaggerate it though

  9. old egg cartons make ideal containers for keeping golf balls in
(except that they’re slightly too small)
    just a handy tip

  10. This is true. I an open tennis player and at the age of 59 I can still serve the ball at 115 mph and the technic is the same. Power is loaded with weight and rotation not arms.

  11. You sir are an idiot. You don’t even swing the way you teach you muppet. You have a slight lateral movement into your left side in the transition. Watch EVERY Pga Tour player and you will see that they ALL have some sort of lateral motion to their left side, most of them more than what you do, particularly with a driver. Telling people it is ok to stay on their right side is stupid, unless you want them to hit slices/snap hooks all day. This is what is wrong with “Conventional” golf instruction.

  12. All I can say is I used to live in LA and watch this guy give lessons to all the major hollywood stars. He hits the ball a mile and it looks effortless. When you hit the sweet spot and you’ve got great timing, the ball goes a long way without a lot of effort. People pay this guy $100s an hour for lessons and I’ve seen good results from his students. That’s my 2 cents!

  13. BUllshit he hit that 300 yards…. 240 at the most.

  14. This was really a helpful video… I do like the way he broke down the swing making it simpler. Could I re blog this on my site? thegolfjunkies.blogspot.com I have some other useful lessons that I’ve found. Feel free to check those out! Good luck with your game in the new year!

  15. Watch Re Max … Long Drive 08 – 10 … the Longenst Hitters all Move to the Left … some way left … during and after the impact zone … The First Move from the Ground up in a huge Seperation of the Left Leg toward target while right remains stable … and all of this happens so fast you cannot see it unless you slow down the vidieo… If you spin from your right side or stay back you will hit it way right .. bad move .. Golf 101

  16. Don’t do this Spin out Move …. Very Bad !

  17. I played golf with this guy. He hits it 260, with a slight fade. Not too bad.

  18. rons advicce is ok but your supposed to stay behind the ball while transfering your wait look up Rory Mcilroy he is a perfect example so Ron you need to figure your shit out

  19. The driver swing’s not really different from a 7 iron swing. The ball is more forward in your stance so you’re AUTOMATICALLY gonna hit it on the upswing, with less backspin, more forward momentum, etc. This guy acts like the whole swing is different…just set up with a lil more spine tilt (away from target), lil extra weight on your rt. foot, ball forward, and GO. Tee it HIGH and let it rip.

  20. this is for really bad players, these tips

  21. How do you hit a 300 yard drive? you be an athletic, flexible person with good hand eye coordination. Don’t be 50 yrs old, have never played a sport in your life or never been good at one, and think that a youtube video is going to give you 300 yards off the tee like a tour player. seriously

  22. well first of all, ur ment 2 keep ur left arm straight so ron, ur shit…

  23. i did this for a summer , and it worked perfect , best tip i ever got , staying back allows the head to sqare up , if you lean to the front you’ll hit down on the ball like my golf partner does and hits a 70yard slice , so great tip ron,,

  24. I’ve noticed a lot of long drive competitors seem to be hanging kind of back at the point of impact. What fascinates me here is the similarity to the Single Pivot swing (a.k.a. Stack & Tilt), which has shaved 10 strokes from my game. The Single Pivot swing focuses on keeping weight on the front foot throughout the swing, but I now find I have a less power in my driver. Ron’s approach is like a single pivot as well, but on the back leg, which might give me back my power. I can’t wait to try it.

  25. goodness gracious…what a load of nonsense

  26. heres a tip. work on the fundamentals: grip, posture, and alignment.

  27. Great teaching ! That’s a good tip

  28. If this guy is such a bro why is he hitting graphite shafts in his irons?

  29. heres a tip, figure out your club distances and hit the one thats closest to the middle of the green. this 1 more club tip is BS.

  30. @chittychad18 LOL

  31. Or you could write down your club distances and use a range finder…

  32. cheers for the tips!!!

  33. WTF? Nice clubs. Do you drag them behind your car on the way to and from the course? Oh, and those tips SUCKED. I took one more club and guess what happened……I flew the green. Gee big surprise there.

  36. Mangler dansk

  37. Worthless video, If people are dumb enough not to write down how far they can hit each club then they shouldn’t play golf… you need more instruction on how to create backspin
