Ive listened to a lot of faldo’s “wisdon”, well he doesnt seem to say anything… I think his advise is shit, and nothing out of the ordinary. Great player in his day but anyone could give this advise.
@TheOneAndOnlycE I find him a bit patronising and condescending.
tiger couldnt beat “faldo ” in his “hey day”…….he would tame the tiger……

I think Nick has read the book ‘Zen Golf’ – it teaches how to manage your mind in the game of golf… and life!

Reilly, I understand that. But that’s the problem of generalizing. When you become a professional athlete now you’re a dumbass by association. You need to give everyone a chance. Tiger graduated Stanford. There are some professional baseball players that went to some pretty legitimate colleges. Football is a meatheaded sport no doubt, and I wont even touch on basketball. My point is that many doesn’t mean all and there are a lot of sports out there.
@drewster85 – come on, there a lot of dumb professional athletes out there, even in golf.
Maybe that’s one of the reasons he is a professional athlete…get it?

He’s great. I wish he were still competing like Woosnam, Lyle, Couples etc.

Thanks Alot Nick… I know this but I just need to be told everytime I go out. So ill save it as a favorite and watch it over and over. I had a round during the week… it was terrible. I came off the course wondering what went wrong. I realised after my first bad shot I never tried to visualise anything after that.
Basic stuff we all know but very interesting from a 6 times major!
Great posting…. Mental concentration so VIP….Faldo was mentally tough when he played and everyone knows how mentally tough Tiger is today. The GREAT champions are mentally tough.
NICK, now that you do tv talk for golf, how is it that you think WE want to HEAR you TALK during a players swing! SHUT UP! you above all people should know its lame to hear people talk when someone is swinging, yes even when we are watching on tv, you doltz, how can we get a email/phone protest going???
