@mshoops04 I certainly agree. The last time I injured my left knee at Augusta I was back playing eventually. I called Tiger and said, “Hey man. We need to stick together. You’ll make a comeback just like I did.”
@apagustaf123 he s hitting a cut, so his shoulder plane is open so he ll swing on that plane to start the ball to the left with a cut.

@onionsoup32 It is to get him thinking to keep his head still like foley wants him to do during his swing, kinda like how steve holds the club to his head.

@helenathena yea, its true that he should be able to square it up, because he’s supposed to be awesome, but he’s always had the problem of getting stuck. his hips slide up,making his arms swing down way too low, so he cant get it back to impact the usual way. i think now he’s emphasizing making his club come out in front of him.

they feel they know what they’re talking when their “swing” is more then likely the most flawed piece of shit imaginable! The man’s a genius and he doesn’t need handicap golfers whether they’re off 1 or 21 to be giving him “tips”.

I agree, It’s like the old saying, “too many chefs spoil the soup.” If you are going to have a long-term coach, you need to only have one.
Tiger knows a lot more (about swing theories and what others say about his swing) than you guys think. He is probably reading these comments too. He is not in the dark so to speak. And he does hit 10000s of balls to see what works best for him. So he can WIN. Which is what he really cares about…not how pretty his swing looks or whether it’s the model swing for whichever coach he is under at the time. Tiger dug it out the dirt. Just because you have talent doesn’t mean you can’t practice hard.
@ 1tontomato. You make some good points. The reason Tiger has to sling it through impact is because his upper body is slow to rotate at the start of the downswing. As you said the great ball strikers hit it with their body and core rotation. Most of the stuff he is working on at the moment with Foley won’t help him until he improves his downswing.

Look at frame 0:27. Right arm is straight at impact, that is a sign of a slinger. Meaning he uses too much arms. Compare that to any impact position of Hogan, Cabrera, Dustin Johnson or Hunter Mahan. Big difference, night and day. How do they keep that right elbow bent at impact? Simple answer, don’t use the arms to hit the ball, use the hips/core to rotate through the ball.
@1tontomato And if I remember correctly, Hogan also said that one of his biggest regrets was that he worked on what he thought he was doing not what he was actually doing. So if Hogan says that, then I’d say that is a pretty big endorsement for having a person what over you and tell you what you are doing right and what you are doing wrong
tiger’s swing is like no other. When he initiates his downswing he does a violent drop with his hips and knees. This is where he generates his power and it is also why his head moves

@sessien there HAS to be positions. A lot of people are so OUT of position that it is impossible for them to ever hit a good shot. There HAVE to be positions
good graphics. i heard about a product that only the top golf teachers are using . i called the top name teachers they would not divulge any information . it suppose to a club or ball that that teaches path ,angle ,club face position every time. someone think it a ball with a flat side .how’s that possible

Golfers are soooo effin sexy!!! I love to play golf in my short skirts with no panites and bend over on the greens in front of hot older guys…SUCH a huge turn on! haha
This type of technical talk normally loses me but the software here and practicality of what’s being discussed give me a lot of helpful visuals. More importantly, I can actually feel in my joints and muscles whats being implicitly advised.
coil is not difficult, every golfer coils both spine and legs to some degree – tiger is just more physically fit so he can coil harder
his head moves down and back due to the fact that he’s hitting driver and trying to strike slightly on the upswing; never move like that when swinging an iron

Hello everyone, finally got my account fixed so I could post comments again. I haven’t been able to for over a year! Anyway, I used cSwing for this and now use DigitalMirror.
This is a very interesting video. I especially like the way his head moves down and back, can you say spring! Not only does he coil around his spine, but he coils his legs for power too… OMG
P.S. Don’t try this at home kids you’ll crap yourself if your lucky and snap your spine if you’re not.

It’s one thing to have great technique but consistency comes from a perfect tempo. I found something called swing beats check out for Fred Couples swingbeats.
Google David Leadbetter interactive and look for the phrase “free swing analysis software included”. It’s a version of V1 Home.
